Purva Bhattacharjee
Policy Advocate – TAY
Purva joins the California Alliance with a background in nonprofit work and health policy. Previously, she served as the Media Specialist for the California Medical Association, an organization that lobbies on behalf of 50,000 doctors across California to advocate for patients, physicians, and broad public health policies. She also served as a Project Assistant for 2 years at the Scholars Strategy Network in Sacramento, an organization that connects policymakers to research scholars.
Purva is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, where she was president of IGNITE, a student organization dedicated to inspiring young women to run for political office. Her passion lies in increasing representation and resources for underserved communities.
