Development Specialist
Karisa Lim is the Development Specialist for the California Alliance of Child and Family Services and the Catalyst Center, where she advances philanthropic partnerships and grant development initiatives.
With more than a decade of experience in nonprofit development, Karisa previously held leadership roles at Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families, including Development & PR Manager and Special Projects Manager. She supported a team that raised $4.5M annually through strategic campaigns, appeals, and events, and partnered with executive leadership to secure more than $7M in federal, state, and county grants - expanding critical programs, strengthening financial sustainability, and diversifying agency funding sources.
Karisa earned her bachelor's degree in journalism and public relations from Pacific Union College and later her master's in business administration from Capella University.
Karisa is passionate about supporting mission-driven work by leveraging her expertise in nonprofit development to advance meaningful impact.
