Amber is the Communication Analyst at the California Alliance of Child and Family Services and its Catalyst Center. She joins the California Alliance with a variety of Marketing, Communication, and Graphic Design experiences ranging in industries from e-commerce to wellness to associations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from UC Irvine where she helped to create the inaugural issue of InSight, a magazine dedicated to telling the stories of those living in poverty and showcasing effective strategies in poverty alleviation. She also spent time as a volunteer tutor for School on Wheels, a non-profit that worked with children experiencing homelessness to shrink the gaps in their education. 

She is passionate about using her skills to amplify the voice of marginalized communities and is dedicated to always empathizing and learning. In her free time, she loves cooking, writing, and exploring her community.
